With this four and a half hour Adventure trip you will get to explore deeper into the hidden world of the Storms River gorge with long, bottomless pools, deep caves and ancient forests with nothing but the quiet noises of nature around you.
We will equip you with a uniquely designed Anvil which is a combination of the kayak and lilo. But don’t let the name fool you; they are easy to paddle but you do need to be fit and strong be able to carry the Anvils over rocks, but the beauty is well worth the hard work!
We start at our shop just above the small harbor inside the National Park, here you will meet your guides and receive all your gear. Please leave valuables in your vehicle, we do provide crates to store change of clothes. After a briefing we depart with two experienced guides leading the trip. We starts with a hike through the forest and over the famous suspension bridge where our Anvils will be waiting for us. Here we continue the adventure in the water with the Anvils.
The Anvil is a new generation hydro speed and making it ideal for technical river running. With this experience you will get to see more of the Storms River Gorge and enjoy the beautiful ravine with its awe experience and scenery that you will never forget.

Amazing experience, really loved the views and activities provided. Friendly staff too. Unfortunately didn't get time to do cliff jumping, only downside was everything seemed a bit rushed. Would have lived to have more stopping and swimming time. Other than that it was awesome and I reccomend this adventure highly. - Claudea Allegrucci
We went on the Adventure trip in early January. This was an amazing trip as we got to explore much further down the river than the other tour types. We were also lucky enough to be the only two people on our tour so it really felt like a proper adventure. Out tour guides, Clinton and Denovan, were absolutely fantastic, telling us all about the history of the river, tailoring everything to our needs and having some great chats. We would thoroughly recommend Untouched Adventures to anyone who wants to explore and push themselves with the the support of amazing guides! - Clare MacGregor
Guides were amazing Too many tourists though and felt crowded. Wetsuits stink, helmets smell terrible. We were told there would be a snack for us on the half day trip yet there was nothing. Absolutely beautiful place though. - Guy Everitt
Had an amazing experience thank you. The guides were very helpful and experienced. If I could just give 1 critique is that the wetsuites, booties and lifejackets are very worn out, tired and torn. The helmets were also extremely uncomfortable.... Other than that it was great. Kind regards, Annemarie - Annemarie Steenekamp
Everything was perfect organized expect one thing which is sooooo important. My boyfriend jumped from the cliff (12 metre high) into the water with his helmet. The helmet has filled with water and his head get teared up. He had 2 days head and neck ache. The helmet needs to pulled off before jump into the water. This could end very worse...!!! Please check this with your guides! - Milva Binder
