Merci ! - Marie Virginie DZIECHCIAREK
We went swimming with seals with our 2 kids (6&9 y o). We felt safe at all times. Unfortunately the water was very cold and our son (6) had to leave the water and watch the seals off the boat. Wetsuits however were provided (2 per person). My daughter and my wife fought through the cold and enjoyed the experience very much. A bouyancy aid was provided if needed. We would recommend the experience and would do it again (in summer). The guide took fotos and videos with a GoPro and the fotos can be downloaded - a great service. - Britta Krause
Great experience. Children liked it very much. Professional team and guide. Any time again. - Thomas Henksmeier
“Our favourite!” The 2 hour Storms River Kayak & Lilo Adventure is our most popular adventure activity in Tsitsikamma National Park! If you are keen to explore deeper into the Storms River Gorge in Tsitsikamma, and experience the long, deep, quiet pools, then the Kayak and Lilo trip is for you!
We paddle from the Harbour next to the small beach across the ocean, then under the Suspension Bridge and up the beautiful Storms River Mouth. Please note that if the sea is rough, you have to hike to the Suspension Bridge (along a boardwalked trail), where we then hike along the river from the suspension bridge up to the jetty to where you then get on onto your kayaks. This 1km hike takes about 30 min
This is where the true Kayaking adventure begins – paddling the Storms River, the pinnacle of Tsitsikamma National Park. After waving to all the tourists photographing you from the Suspension Bridge, we continue the kayak trip up the Stormsriver. We paddle right into the bats cave and spend time gazing up at the magnificent and spectacular cliffs all around us, all from the comfort of our double sit-on-top kayaks.
At the low-water point we disembark our kayaks and we jump on our unique Lilo’s. (a Lilo is an inflatable mattress that we’ve had specially made for this trip). From here we walk and float over a short section of rocks and simply wade deeper up the river on the Lilo’s. What a stunning view it is, laying on a Lilo at water level, and gazing up to cliffs that touch the sky! At reaching a certain point, we simply turn our Lilo’s around and float back down river to our Kayaks!

we absolutely loved our experience and our guides made it all the more memorable with their little stories and anecdotes! will highly recommend this experience to anyone - remember to take a towel and a spare set of clothes! - Lizelle Botten
We really appreciated the tour. Our guide was very experience and did connect to the people. The first and last bit is not an easy bit but we managed it well with the kids starting from 11 years. - Sonja Engels
Loved the experience. I felt it was professionally run and that our guides Clinton and Rowan were excellent, informative and made us feel safe. It was fun. The only thing is that as a foreigner, the entry to the National park to get to this activity is very expensive, which like us, all you are coming for is this activity makes it a significant amount. It would be great if you could have an agreement to combine costs as we came for this NOT the entrance to the park. - Nevine
